Our Story
Clayton’s Monuments was founded in 1984 by Palmer, Polly, Bruce, and Elaine Clayton with a simple mission: to provide families with memorials that are both meaningful and built to stand the test of time. That mission continues today.
The business is now operated by third-generation owners Mark and Katie Van Antwerp, who carry on the Clayton family’s tradition of craftsmanship, service, and care.
At Clayton’s Monuments, we strive to treat every customer like part of our family. We approach each memorial with compassion, understanding, and attention to detail. From the first conversation and design vision through the completion and installation of the memorial, we work closely with families to create something truly personal and lasting.
Our goal is to create memorials that are beautiful, durable, and crafted to the highest standards while remaining accessible for a variety of budgets. Nothing matters more to us than helping families create a memorial they feel proud of—a place of peaceful remembrance for friends and loved ones for years to come.
Today, the Clayton family legacy continues to grow with the addition of Lillian Kate and Rosalie Van Antwerp, representing the fourth generation. As they grow, they will carry forward the same values of care, quality, and dedication that have guided Clayton’s Monuments since the beginning.
We are honored whenever a family chooses Clayton’s Monuments to help commemorate the life and memory of someone they love.
